The company is the brainchild of Ryan Kent, who found himself unimpressed with the boring selection of men's socks. Soxfords bridge the gap between novelty and classic dress, and they are designed to complement the personality of the wearer.

An Ignoble End style, primarily in blue with yellow accents, features a fisherman sitting on a bench reeling in and eating a large yellow gold fish. The backstory reveals a lesson about greed. The Zealous Zombie in lavender with purple accents tells the story of a friendly zombie whom pedestrians attack, when "all he wanted was a hug."

While the designs are colorful, Soxfords are cut to a dressier fit more acceptable for business professionals. The brand recently partnered with a family-run hosiery mill from Columbia with the technical expertise that enables Soxfords to produce a phenomenal quality, Pima cotton blend. Each pair is generously cut over the calf, with a wide cuff to avoid slippage. They give the perfect amount of stretch needed to mold comfortably around the leg.
