Novell President and General Manager Bob Flynn will begin the conference with a keynote speech, discussing the importance of transitioning to a mobile enterprise and how it can be done seamlessly by deploying solutions such as Novell ZENworks® Mobile Management, Novell GroupWise® 2012 and Novell Filr. Additionally, Novell users will discuss best ways to integrate Novell ZENworks Mobile Management into existing architectures to ensure the security and integrity of enterprise data and applications. They will also explore the new features and functionality of secure social collaboration in the latest release of GroupWise 2012.
During his keynote, Bob Flynn will honor recipients of the 2012 and 2013 Novell Young Networking Professional Scholarship Program, a scholarship co-founded by Novell and the Utah State Office of Education. Since 1997, the program has awarded $153,800 in scholarships to deserving high school students throughout the state of Utah, who have demonstrated interest and competency in pursuing a Novell certification. With 112 scholarships granted to students over the past 16 years, Novell and the Utah State Office of Education have aided in the success of many working industry professionals today, and will continue to enable IT professionals of the future.
