Novetta and Teradata Establish Partnership to Deliver Active, Next-Gen Cyber Defense

MCLEAN, Va., Oct. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Novetta Solutions and Teradata (NYSE:TDC) are partnering in the Americas now, and internationally in 2014, to deliver next-generation solutions for increased visibility into network behavior analytics for information security and cyber analytics. The solutions will provide Network and Security Operations Centers with an unprecedented ability to reduce dwell-time and accelerate interruption of cyber-kill-chains. This new approach to defeat adversaries attempting to attack a network uses advanced, big data analytics instead of conventional signature-based analytics.

The first solution to be offered through the partnership from the Novetta portfolio is Novetta's Behavioral Cyber Analytic solution, running against a Teradata analytics platform for accelerated analytics. The Novetta Behavioral Cyber Analytic application is used to rapidly identify anomalous activity, network infection and insider-threat compromises.
