Novice Soccer Moms Inspire A Different Kind of Comeback

MONTCLAIR, N.J., June 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Unfortunately the quest for the 2010 FIFA World Cup has come to an end for the United States; however, the Goals for Life Foundation, founded by a small group of novice soccer moms, will continue their mission of inspiring "comebacks" from debilitating illnesses and physical injuries.  

The organization is currently seeking "comeback" themed sports memorabilia, artwork and photographs for a "Make a Comeback" Silent Auction Event to be held on July 15, 2010 at the new ProActive Sports Therapy clinic in Montclair, New Jersey.

Artwork, framed photographs and sports memorabilia depicting inspirational "comebacks" will adorn the 20-foot walls of Proactive Sports Therapy's 5,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility in Montclair, NJ.  

Celebrity guests, politicians, association leaders, media representatives and prominent business executives will be among the invited guests to this annual fundraiser, which will feature a silent auction, wine tasting, music and complimentary sports massages.

Certificates that include the "comeback" story and inspiration behind each item will be posted alongside each listing at the event, in addition to making mention of the person/company who provided the item.

All proceeds from the "Make a Comeback" Silent Auction will go to the Goals for Life Foundation to help empower people to overcome life threatening illnesses and physical disabilities to achieve their dream and "make a comeback."

There are currently a limited number of invitations available for this private event, which will take place at 7pm on July 15, 2010 at Proactive Sports Therapy, located at the new shopping center at 15 Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, New Jersey (behind Smashburger).
