Novus supports St. Louisans in need with 2014 United Way Campaign

ST. LOUIS, Oct. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- For the past 23 years, Novus International, Inc. has made contributions to the United Way of Greater St. Louis to benefit their programs in and around the St. Louis region. More than 90 cents of every dollar contributed to the United Way's Annual Giving Campaign goes to services that help people in need, and the United Way enlists the help of volunteers to study community needs, evaluate programs and make strategic decisions about where donations are invested each year.

Since 2010, employees have contributed $633,730 to the campaign, including Novus matching donations. In 2013, donations totaled $94,865 and each year contribution amounts increase, allowing us to have a greater impact on our community. To reach our goal this year, we will host several events in October to encourage involvement. Today, October 17, Novus is hosting a golf tournament at the Missouri Bluffs Golf Club, along with a bike ride along the riverfront of St. Charles and an employee trivia tournament. The campaign finale will be next Friday, October 24, and will include a bake-off fundraiser.
