NOWDiagnostics Inc. Announces Additions to Leadership Team

SPRINGDALE, Ark., Oct. 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- NOWDiagnostics Inc., based in Springdale, Ark., announced today the addition of three new members to its leadership team: Ann G. Bordelon as Chief Financial Officer/Chief Administrative Officer, Jeff Ellis as the Director of Sales and Marketing and Adam Glasier as Director of Finance.

NOWDiagnostics manufactures and sells a line of unique rapid tests that allow health care providers to conduct simple-to-use, highly accurate tests for a variety of ailments and diseases. Currently, the company manufactures the ADEXUSDx™ hCG test for distribution in the United States and five additional tests in Europe. Unlike others, NOWDiagnostics' tests allow for a one-step process that provides results in 5 to 15 minutes using only a single drop of whole or capillary blood with no laboratory needed. The small drop of blood is obtained from a finger stick. Furthermore, the tests are reviewed by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) and have proven sensitivity, specificity, accuracy and precision comparable to conventional diagnostic laboratory tests.

All three individuals joining the NOWDiagnostics team bring a deep bench of experience in their respective fields, said NOWDx Chief Executive Officer Kevin Clark.

Before joining NOWDx, Ann Bordelon spent nearly 13 years with Walmart. During her time she served as Chief Financial Officer for Walmart's Sam's Club division and CFO of the Asia region. She also served as Global Chief Audit Executive. Prior to joining Wal-Mart, Bordelon worked for Ernst & Young's Assurance and Advisory Services Business where she served two Fortune 100 clients and other clients in the retail and consumer products industry. She also previously worked for Tyson Foods in a variety of finance and accounting positions. 

Jeff Ellis has spent his entire career in sales and sales management. Ellis spent the last 10 years at one of the world's leaders in rapid diagnostic testing – Alere North America. Ellis served as Vice President of Sales for Alere's Hospital Division, Vice President of Marketing for the Alere Cardiac Division and then transitioned to running the U.S. Sales Division for one of Alere's partners, Chembio Diagnostics.

Adam Glasier worked previously at Walmart in the finance and strategy group of the U.S. business division where he was responsible for analysis and execution of strategic initiatives and financial planning. Prior to Walmart, Glasier spent two years in Boston obtaining his master's in business administration from Harvard Business School. During his time in Boston, he worked for two startup companies, where he advised on strategy, financial operations and equity fundraising. Before business school, Glasier spent two years working in investment banking at Stephens Inc. in Little Rock, Ark. At Stephens, he worked on both buy-side and sell-side transactions as well as equity capital raises.
