NuGene kathy ireland® was introduced by Janine Coppola, Sr., Director of Brand Marketing at NuGene, who gave an overview of the skin and hair care product lines, formula innovations, and points of distribution. She then introduced Dr. Dendy Engelman, NuGene Advisory Board member and New York City dermatologist who explained the science behind the NuGene brand.
Dr. Engelman explained that NuGene's stem cells are derived from adipose (fatty) tissue of healthy donors. The adipose derived stem cells have the highest concentration of growth factors versus other types of stem cells and are extremely effective at reducing signs of aging and improving luminosity of the skin. She then focused on NuGene's hero products and showed the results of a 12 week split face study using before and after photos.
