Nutrisystem Announces Winners of the Great Escape $40,000 Giveaway

FORT WASHINGTON, Pa., July 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Nutrisystem (NASDAQ: NTRI), a leading provider of weight management products and services, today announced the winners of the Great Escape $40,000 Giveaway. The four weight loss champions, two men and two women who shared their weight loss stories as well as before and after photos, will be awarded $10,000 each plus a trip to the tropics for a Nutrisystem photo shoot. All of the winners lost weight while on the Nutrisystem® My Way® program, which is tailored to an individual's metabolism, and the Fast 5™ kit, a one-week jumpstart that can help customers lose five pounds in their first week of dieting.

The four grand prize winners include: 

Blaine Ardeneaux – Belle Chasse, Louisiana
Blaine lost 91 pounds, including 15 pounds on Fast 5.

In 2006, Blaine's college football career ended due to dangerously high blood pressure. By 2011, he had gained 50 pounds. He went to a theme park that year and could barely fit on the rides. For the next few years, he would repeatedly start a diet then quit. By late 2013, he joined Nutrisystem.

Brian Aubuchon – Gravel Blanc, Michigan
