FORT WASHINGTON, Pa., June 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Nutrisystem, Inc. (NASDAQ:NTRI), a leading provider of weight management products and services, is pleased to announce the Company's Chief Financial Officer, Mike Monahan, has been named a 2015 CFO of the Year finalist by Philadelphia Business Journal. Monahan Role in Nutrisystem Turnaround
Mr. Monahan, who rejoined Nutrisystem in 2013, will be recognized at an upcoming awards luncheon as one of the region's top financial officers during a critical juncture for the iconic brand. His formidable efforts were directly tied to the company's ability to increase shareholder value, reinvest in growth strategies and add to operating cash flow.
For full year 2014, the company generated double-digit revenue growth of 13% reversing a multi-year trend of a year-over-year decrease in revenue. In addition, there were significant bottom-line improvements with 2014 adjusted earnings per share increasing year-over-year by 65% and adjusted EBITDA growing 35%.
Mike believes success comes from disciplined execution. He and the Nutrisystem management team remain focused, having recently exceeded expectations during Q1 2015, delivering seven consecutive quarter of year-over-year revenue growth, raising guidance and outperforming the competitive set.
