NY Citizens Prepared To Challenge Planned Parenthood Through New Personhood Organization

NEW YORK, Nov. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Personhood New York has become an official organization and state affiliate to Personhood USA vowing to protect human life at all stages of development from the moment of conception until natural death. The new organization seeks to challenge Planned Parenthood at its national headquarters in New York City, educate the public on the personhood movement, motivate political action, and establish legislation throughout the state.

Currently, 41% of pregnancies in New York City end in abortion, which is legal in New York until the 24^th week of pregnancy. State legislators most recently shut down the proposed Women's Equality Act as it attempted to make abortion even more accessible than it already is. Personhood New York is dedicated to the cause of fighting to protect the unborn and to bring an end to abortion in the state.
