NYX Professional Makeup Names Jessica Kalil Beauty Vlogger of the Year at the Sixth Annual FACE Awards
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- On Saturday, August 19th, 2017, NYX Professional Makeup announced Jessica Kalil as its Beauty Vlogger of the Year at the Sixth Annual NYX Fine Artistry of Cosmetic Elites (FACE) Awards Show in Los Angeles.
Jessica and the five finalists revealed their final challenge videos inspired by the theme, "The Magic of Makeup," before host Patrick Starr, emcee Charisma Star, an expert panel of judges, and a live audience of more than 4,000 beauty enthusiasts at the Shrine Auditorium. The FACE Awards Show also featured an opening dance number by RuPaul's Drag Race star Alyssa Edwards, in addition to a musical performance by Willow Smith.

As the Beauty Vlogger of the Year, Jessica will receive $50,000, a year's supply of NYX Professional Makeup, and the opportunity to kick-start a professional career in makeup artistry. The five runner-ups will each receive $15,000 and a year's supply of NYX Professional Makeup.
In April, NYX Professional Makeup received thousands of video entries; from there, a panel of judges selected the 30 semi-finalists. After creating looks inspired by the challenge themes, "Royalty," "Animal Kingdom," and "Cyberpunk," the semi-finalists were narrowed down to the top six finalists via rounds of public voting.
