His extensive knowledge of the Japanese market and his focus on chemical and microelectronics industries will help to bolster Oblon's presence and growth in IP markets across the region. Stefan Koschmieder, Ph. D., is a partner in the firm's Chemical Patent Prosecution group with expertise in organometallic chemistry, catalysis, polyolefin polymers, polycarbonate plastics, polymer additives, petroleum recovery and refining, and microelectronics manufacturing processes. He holds a J.D. from the George Washington University Law School, an M.B.A. from the University of Houston, and his Ph.D and B.S. from the University of Texas at Austin.
