Octopart's Sam Wurzel Speaking At Open Hardware Summit 2015

NEW YORK, Sept. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Sam Wurzel, Head of Octopart, will be speaking at the Open Hardware Summit in Philadelphia, PA on September 19, 2015. Octopart is the leading online solutions provider for engineers, maker pros, and component purchasers.
Launched earlier this month, the Common Parts Library (CPL) for Prototyping is a set of commonly used components, development boards, and tools for prototyping connected devices. It complements the Common Parts Library for Production, Octopart's set of commonly used electronic components for manufacturing connected device products.
The goal of both Common Parts Libraries is to tighten development cycles and speed the process of product development.
Wurzel's talk will be an overview of the just released Common Parts Library for Prototyping, followed by a discussion of ways it can benefit the Open Hardware community.
