Odyssey Software Expands Mobile Device Management Capabilities to iPhone, Palm and Nokia

WEST HENRIETTA, N.Y., Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Odyssey Software, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise-class mobile device management (MDM) products, today announced it is expanding its award winning remote and mobile device management product, Athena(TM), to support Apple® iPhone®, Palm® Pre, and Nokia E and N series products.

A recent study by Gartner forecasted that in 2009 approximately 1.2 billion smartphones were purchased(1). To meet rapidly increasing customer and market demand, Odyssey Software is expanding its device management offering to support a number of the industry's most popular devices. This will enable enterprises to integrate mobile device management through a single console, complementing and extending capabilities to existing enterprise management platforms such as Microsoft® System Center Configuration Manager (Configuration Manager) 2007.
