Oil Can Henry's Offers $84,000 in College Scholarships to Local High School Seniors

PORTLAND, Ore., March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- High school seniors are encouraged to apply for one of the 84 $1,000 college scholarships proudly offered by Oil Can Henry's.  Oil Can Henry's has established a scholarship program to encourage and assist graduating high school seniors in the communities it serves in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Minnesota, Oregon, and Washington.  Interested students may apply at http://www.oilcanhenrys.com/scholarship/; applications must be postmarked by April 7, 2010.  Scholarship finalists are selected on the basis of academic record, leadership, participation in school and community activities, and work experience.

WHO: All high school seniors planning to continue their education by enrolling in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college or vocational-technical school are eligible.

WHAT: Eighty-four $1,000 scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors.  Each participating Oil Can Henry's location will award one scholarship.

WHEN: The Oil Can Henry's Scholarship Program begins immediately.  All applications must be postmarked by April 7, 2010.
