The gala, themed "A Walk Through Our Rose Garden," raised funds for HealthCorps to continue its mission of educating youth about the dangers of childhood obesity and how to both overcome and prevent this deadly epidemic with physical fitness, nutrition and mental resilience education. Funding from the event will go directly to the continued expansion of HealthCorps' groundbreaking, in-school Health Education programming.
