Montvale-based Information Technology Firm Opens Office in Edison

MONTVALE, N.J., Oct. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- DATA Inc., a globally recognized information technology software and service provider, today celebrated its 30^th anniversary by opening a new office, in Edison, N.J., to better serve its New Jersey clients and to recruit from among the region's growing pool of IT talent.

The Edison office is the firm's sixth office. In addition to its Montvale, N.J., headquarters, the firm has offices in New Delhi and Bangalore, both in India; in Winnersh, UK, and Zug, Switzerland. The Edison office, located at 510 Thornhall St., is walking distance from the MetroPark train station, and provides a central location for staff and clients.

DATA Inc. decided on the Edison location as a first step in its global expansion plan. DATA Inc. plans to open offices near client sites in North Carolina, Virginia, Chicago, and internationally in Brazil and the Asia-Pacific.

The office was opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony that was attended by DATA Inc. executives, clients and local dignitaries, including officials from the New Jersey Technology Council, the mayor of Edison, and representatives of the Edison Chamber of Commerce. The office opens with an initial staff of four, working in administration, sales and recruiting, with plans to ramp up the total staff to 20 by the end of the year.

The geographical expansion matches the firm's expansion of services it offers beyond staff augmentation, including web and mobile applications, testing and quality assurance services, e-learning solutions, and project management services.
