On-Demand Eco-Friendly Car Washing Service Launches in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Squeegy, the car wash that comes to you, today announced its official launch in Los Angeles. The new service aims to provide users a more convenient and eco-friendly solution to the traditional car wash.
Squeegy launched their pilot program six weeks ago in Santa Monica, CA, and has experienced a very positive reception.

The on-demand mobile app allows users to request a car wash anywhere within Squeegy's service area, whether at a home or office, public street or parking garage. The customer doesn't even have to be present to enjoy the service.
Squeegy uses water-smart techniques that save up to 100 gallons of water per wash when compared to a traditional car wash. Their products are also eco-friendly and there is no storm drain run-off, so the service can be used in restricted municipalities and locations, such as public parking garages, condominiums and apartment buildings.
As of September 23, Squeegy will be available in the following Los Angeles neighborhoods: Beverly Hills, Beverlywood, Brentwood, Century City, Culver City, Mar Vista, Marina del Rey, Pacific Palisades, Palms, Playa Vista, Playa del Rey, Santa Monica, Venice, West LA, Westchester and Westwood with plans to expand to other areas soon. Squeegy currently offers two levels of service. The Express Wash, which is an exterior wash, is $29 and takes about 25 minutes. The Classic Wash adds an interior vacuum and wipe down for $39 and can be completed in 45 minutes. Current hours are Monday-Saturday 9am-6:30 pm.
The app is now available on iOS with plans to expand to Android in the near future.
