Oncology Systems Limited UK (OSL), innovators in radiation therapy solutions, announced today the signing of a multi-year research and collaboration agreement with The UHB Radiotherapy Department and the Medical Physics Department. UHB researchers play a vital role in advancing the treatment the Trust is able to deliver to its patients. In doing so they support the Trust's vision to deliver the best in care, help maintain its reputation for excellence and, most importantly, make a real difference to people's lives.
OSL and the UHB will collaborate on leading-edge research in radiation oncology to advance pre-treatment technology and quality assurance tools and provide health care professionals with the most advanced tools for optimising workflow with multi-modality data for delivering advanced radiotherapy patient care.
The Department of Radiotherapy Physics at the UHB is the first to install OnQ rts® in the UK under the collaborative agreement along with OSL's ImSimQA™ quality assurance software for radiotherapy imaging.
