ONC's Farzad Mostashari to Participate at Health 2.0 Town Hall
The most innovative IT startups vie for one-on-one with ONC's National Coordinator
SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Health 2.0 turns up the heat at its fifth annual conference featuring Dr. Farzad Mostashari, the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, at a town hall meeting on Sept. 27. During Mostashari's first-ever Health 2.0 town hall, the public can tweet questions using hashtag #health2onc and the town hall attendees will be invited to ask questions. Lygeia Ricciardi, Senior Advisor for Consumer e-Health, and Jodi Daniel, Director of the Office of Policy and Planning, ONC will also be at the town hall.
In addition, there are more chances to interact with ONC at Health 2.0. Startups registered for Health 2.0 Matchpoint will meet with Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) officials. A select number of entrepreneurs will get with a coveted one-on-one session with Mostashari on Tuesday.

The Health 2.0 Conference previews the latest technologies and introduces startups to bring to market innovative technologies that can help improve health outcomes. More than 1,200 leading health care innovators and organizations will gather from Sept. 25-27 at the San Francisco Hilton Union Square to exchange ideas, view live demos, and attend educational sessions at the Health 2.0 conference. The town hall, hosted by Health 2.0 co-chairs, Indu Subaiya and Matthew Holt, begins on Sept. 27 at 3:15 p.m. at the Hilton Union Square's Grand A. The startups selected by ONC officials will meet with Mostashari immediately before the town hall kicks off. Entrepreneurs looking to meet investors and key decisions makers have until Sept. 21 to register for Health 2.0 Matchpoint.
