
OnDemand Energy Hires Don Wukich - Education Market Director
PITTSBURGH, Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- OnDemand Energy, a leading energy consultant based in Western Pennsylvania, has added Don Wukich to its management team, joining as Education Market Director.
Wukich, formerly the director of finance for the Allegheny Intermediate Unit, has been involved in energy consortium development and management since 1986. He was a leader in managing the Allegheny Intermediate Unit's natural gas consortium, consisting of approximately 150 school districts as well as non-public schools, municipalities and churches in Western Pennsylvania. Over the past 20 years, participants have saved in excess of $70 million through participation in this consortium.
In addition, Wukich has been involved in the deregulated electric market since 1997. The electric consortium, comprised of school districts, municipalities and non public schools in the Duquesne Light territory, has saved in excess of $38 million. Wukich will be managing OnDemand's school district and Intermediate Unit consortium energy programs as well as taking on a leading management role within OnDemand's professionally managed energy pools/ solutions division.
