ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- A new seminar offered by one of Florida's wealth planners, Hilgardt Lamprecht, educates retirees on how to avoid retirement mistakes and costly missteps.
Retirement is a complex affair these days and has become even more complicated for many. Americans over the age of 65 are facing stiff challenges to retire and stay retired.
Retired business owners, executives and women-on-their-own are invited to a free, private workshop to find out how to potentially reduce income taxes and estate taxes.
This new seminar educates and equips retirees against the little-known mistakes and costly missteps that can derail their plans in retirement. The fast-paced, 77-minute presentation explores the keys to an abundant retirement.
"Retired business owners, professionals and women-on-their-own face a dozen significant challenges and obstacles to enjoying the reward for a lifetime of hard-work and sacrifice. One of the biggest obstacles is taxes," says educator, author and wealth planner, Hilgardt Lamprecht, MBA.
Hilgardt continues, "Millionaires and top income earners already bear the brunt of the progressive tax system and will continue to do so if they do not employ the latest tax savings strategies."
According to estimates by the Tax Foundation, Americans will pay $3.3 trillion in federal taxes and $1.5 trillion in state and local taxes, for a total tax bill of more than $4.8 trillion. "The numbers are staggering," Hilgardt says. "Typically, Americans pay more in taxes than they spend on food, clothing and housing combined. We have found over and over that people who have been successful at accumulating money are not taking full advantage of income and estate tax savings opportunities, mostly because they haven't been educated. That's why we are on a mission to educate retirees on their options."
Hilgardt and his team at The Life Wealth Group will be conducting a series of free income tax reduction and estate tax elimination workshops on how to take advantage of the potential tax savings opportunities. The goal, he says, is to show people who have successfully created wealth how to protect, preserve and pass on their wealth to the next generation, while showing the next generation how to live productive lives.
"Most retirees want to more fully enjoy retirement, yet they are uninformed about the many dangers and obstacles they face. For example, another obstacle is running afoul of IRS retirement account rules can cost a bundle," says Hilgardt.
The IRS levied over half a billion dollars in fines in just a two-year period for missed withdrawals and contributions that break the rules. The Wall Street Journal reported that, "Uncle Sam is about to get a lot tougher on individual retirement account mistakes—and that could trip up investors who aren't careful." The seminar uses real-world examples to show attendees how to create substantial income tax deductions, avoid double taxation on retirement accounts, potentially offset capital gains taxes on stocks, bonds and real estate and reduce and possibly eliminate income taxes on your IRA and 401(k).
"There will be nothing to buy at this briefing and every attendee will receive a free action guide," said Hilgardt. "Our goal is for everyone to leave fully understanding their options and leave knowing what steps to do next."
Hilgardt continues, "You only retire once. Our mission is to inspire our clients to maximize their LifeWealth so that they can enjoy more security, success and significance. I hope people take advantage of this informational event and get registered by calling our office at 407.299.4129 or going to www.lifewealthgroup.com."
