Rima Fujita was born in Tokyo, lived in New York City for thirty-two years, and now resides in Southern California. She is a graduate of Parsons School of Design and has exhibited her work internationally to great acclaim. In 2001 Rima established Books for Children, an organization that produces children's books and donates them to children in need around the world.
