One Pico At Shutters on the Beach Invites Guests to 'Love the Grape'
2010 Wine Spectator Award Recipient, One Pico, Offers Monthly Three-Course Prix Fixe Menu Highlighting Select Wine Varietals
SANTA MONICA, Calif., Aug. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- A multi-year recipient of Wine Spectator's Restaurant Wine List Awards, One Pico restaurant at Shutters on the Beach invites diners to embrace their inner-oenophile with a new food and wine program, "Love the Grape." With an already impressive and accessible wine menu by Master Sommelier Peter Neptune, One Pico has implemented this wine-centric menu pairing as a way to playfully introduce its guests to a plethora of seasonal varietals, without the pretension that overwhelm many an enthusiast. Each month's menu will feature a different celebrated grape with a three-course dinner best showcasing the flavor of that month's varietal.

This allows patrons of One Pico to experiment with a newly discovered varietal, vintage or producer and expand their palate in a really fun way," said Shutters General Manager Gregory Day. "Peter Neptune and I always wanted to bring a list to life that was exciting, affordable and eclectic—I think this really is the one. Love the Grape is just a playful extension of the wine program."
The additional "Love the Grape" menu is offered Tuesday through Sunday and includes a seasonally appropriate three-course dinner with either three ounces of wine per course for $50 or six ounces of wine per course for $65.
