The petrol bomb attack, which occurred in the village of Karbabad, also left two policemen critically injured. The Kingdom offers its condolences to the policeman's family, and wishes the injured policemen a fast recovery. At this time, several suspects have been arrested in connection with the attack, demonstrating the Kingdom's commitment to swiftly acting to carry out justice against terrorists.

This attack brought the number of police fatalities in Bahrain up to 18 since 2011, and the number of police injuries now amount to over 3,200.
