one2many, the world's leading Wireless Broadcast company, today announces Peter Sanders, Products and Standards Director, has won an ATIS 2015 achievement award recognising his outstanding contributions to ATIS' work. Washington-based ATIS - the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions - announced the recipients of its 2015 Annual Awards, recognizing technology leaders and industry subject matter experts for their critical contributions to information and communications technology (ICT) standards and solutions development, in support of ATIS' strategic initiatives. The ATIS Achievement Award was established to honour individuals in an ATIS Committee, Forum or Technology and Operations Council initiative who, during the past year, have made valuable contributions to the completion of ATIS solutions and standards that meet industry needs.

"ATIS is proud to offer these awards to the experts whose work is advancing the new IP, evolving our emergency telecommunications services, and making our industry's business processes better as well as many other contributions," said ATIS President and CEO Susan M. Miller. "Their visionary approach is helping to solve some of the ICT's leading challenges."

Maarten Mes, CEO of one2many, commented: "This award represents industry-wide recognition of our Wireless Broadcast technology and standardisation leadership. We are honoured and privileged that we can contribute to global standardisation of Cell Broadcast, LTE Broadcast and its use in critical communications like Wireless Emergency Alerts."

one2many provides Wireless Broadcast technology to telecoms operators across the world.  Cell Broadcast and LTE Broadcast (eMBMS) technology delivers a non-intrusive, real-time service for the distribution of text messages, streaming video, audio and large files to mobile handsets, specific to their current location. Wireless Broadcast is capable of broadcasting one single message or video to reach all mobile handsets in an area as small as one radio cell and as big as an entire country. Sending content to millions of handsets takes a matter of seconds and functions irrespective of network congestion, making the service ideal for applications such as emergency public alerts and out-of-home video at sports venues.

About Cell Broadcast

Cell broadcast (CB) offers a non-intrusive, real-time service of distributing text messages and binary content to mobile handsets, specific to their current location. CB is capable of broadcasting one single message to reach all mobile handsets in an area as small as one radio cell and as big as an entire country. Sending a message to millions of handsets takes a matter of seconds. This is particularly important for emergency alert services and other time sensitive services, like dynamic discount and sports goal alerts.

About LTE Broadcast (eMBMS)

LTE Broadcast enables sending and streaming of HD multimedia content to eMBMS-enabled handsets specific to their location. Ideal for congestion-prone areas - sports venues and festivals for example - enabling a unique out-of-home video experience, but also providing bandwidth cost-saving for mobile operators by efficiently delivering large amounts of data/content.
