Online Warmongers LLC to Release the World's First AAA Free to Play Online Shooter in 2010

LOS ANGELES, June 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Arktos Entertainment Group, (AEG), is proud to present War Inc. Battle Zone by Online Warmongers LLC, (OW LLC), an independent developer and publisher of premium online video games. In the world's first AAA, free to play, online multiplayer, session-based shooter game, players will compete with each other in fun action packed team vs. team ground combat. War Inc. Battle Zone will have multiple locations and a variety of modes and options for all players.

Arktos Entertainment Group, a Los Angeles based technology Investment Company is providing financing and technological support to the distinguished group of developers at Online Warmongers LLC. These developers have credits that cover the spectrum of PC and Console blockbusters, including such game series as Call of Duty and online blockbusters such as Champions Online and Star Trek Online. Arktos and Online Warmongers will invite players into the War Inc. Battle Zone beta before the end of 2010.

The back story for War Inc. Battle Zone reads like a "flash forward" to our possible future: While 2012 didn't bring about the end of the world, it damn near did. The global economic chaos that started in 2008 had run rampant for almost 4 years. National fortunes were squandered and lost. International trade turned into international hostility and deprivation. A number of Nations disintegrated into anarchy and civil war. Onto this stage of conflict and chaos there emerged a growing need for Mercenary Units or the "Private Mercenary Corps" as they became known in the world press. The PMC's would be the ones who would execute extraordinary orders and carry out far flung assignments for governments and multi-national corporations, allowing their employers plausible deniability in regards to certain "Black Operations" and "Pirate Like Undertakings". The new age of the Mercenary had dawned and with it, ruthless Men and Women took on combat and bloody warfare for honor, money, and power. Units and Unions were formed and broken as Clan like structures and Shadow Organizations emerged to be major players in the events that played out on the Global Stage.

War Inc. Battle Zone delivers an addictive mix of competitive team based combat with a socially interactive design that allows players to build MMO like persistent characters that can be augmented, customized, and upgraded. As players climb in rank, unlocking achievements, awards, and new features, they will also be able to join Units, (clans), compete in tournaments and climb the leaderboards. Players can upgrade their "Hero Character" with special skills, powerful weapons, useful tactical gear, and even customized looks. Diverse features of the gameplay will allow players to call in supporting elements, rescue their team mates, and even to coordinate their unit's attacks through a real time message system. War Inc.
