MONTCLAIR, Va., Jan. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- OpsVision Solutions, LLC announced today that David Ishmael, a nearly 20-year veteran of enterprise management consulting, has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer.  Ishmael will play a key role in shaping OpsVision's technology strategy as the company expands their professional services offerings to focus on cloud computing, big data, and IT security management.

"David has been instrumental in helping guide OpsVision as an outside advisor during our initial startup years," said Kendrick Rizzo, Founder and Managing Director at OpsVision. "As we move into our fifth year in business and continue to grow the team, the client base, and add new professional services to our portfolio, it only made sense to bring him in.  I'm looking for Dave to help lead the team and provide full-time technical direction for the company."

Ishmael, a United States Marine Corps veteran, has spent his consulting career helping service providers, large enterprise, and federal clients overhaul their enterprise management systems by applying statistical and probability models to fault and performance management, transitioning big iron to cloud computing, and creating highly customized integration solutions.

"I believe the technology facet of IT service management will slowly become commoditized as organizations outsource that functionality and instead focus primarily on people and processes," said Ishmael. "While services relating to Integration and Automation, Data Mining, Cloud Computing, and Security Management will continue to offer opportunities for growth over the next three to five years."

Rizzo commented that Ishmael's progressive approach is part of why he is a perfect addition to the OpsVision team. "Dave is a visionary and I am counting on him to lead us into many new and exciting areas in 2014 and beyond," he said.

"I consider myself an instrument of change," added Ishmael. "I believe it is through change that companies can find new and exciting opportunities."
