Oracle Donates To Girls Inc.

Grant supports technology programs for underserved girls in Alameda County

OAKLAND, Calif., Oct. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Girls Incorporated of Alameda County (Girls Inc.) announced today that it has received a $20,000 grant from Oracle in support of their technology programs for underserved girls in Alameda County. The announcement comes as Girls Inc. opens the doors of their new headquarters in downtown Oakland. Both the new facility and generous contributions from supporters like Oracle will enable Girls Inc. to reach its goal of increasing the number of girls served in the region by 25 percent by 2014.
