Orange Regional Medical Center Selects Omnicell to Maximize Medication Management

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Omnicell, Inc., (Nasdaq: OMCL) a leading provider of system solutions to acute healthcare facilities, today announced that Orange Regional Medical Center has chosen Omnicell as its exclusive vendor for automated medication solutions. After evaluating competitive product lines, Orange Regional chose Omnicell's automated medication system to maximize inventory, enhance safety and increase medication security.

Orange Regional will be opening a new 383 bed facility located in New York's Hudson Valley in 2011, equipped with Omnicell solutions.

Omnicell cabinets have the highest capacity per square foot of floor space out of all competitive offerings, allowing Orange Regional to keep 90-95 percent of medications on the floor and available to nurses.
