Orangetheory Fitness Launches OTconnect for Apple Watch

New integration allows members to use Apple Watch for real-time performance tracking during class

BOCA RATON, Fla., Oct. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Orangetheory Fitness® (OTF) is enhancing its connected in-studio experience with the U.S. launch of OTconnect™ for Apple Watch at participating studios, allowing members to connect their personal Apple Watch to an Orangetheory class and access real-time performance data using a device they already wear every day.

Bringing Orangetheory Performance Data to Apple Watch
The new option, called OTconnect for Apple Watch, is part of Orangetheory's proprietary connected technology platform, which tracks real-time performance and delivers post-class results. For a one-time $99 connection fee, members can now use their Apple Watch during an Orangetheory class to access real-time performance data, including calories burned, heart rate and heart rate zones displayed directly on the wrist, in addition to Splat Points. Before class, members can start their workout on Apple Watch once it connects to OTconnect. After class, they can review their performance summary directly in the app on Apple Watch, with additional workout data and personalized insights available through the OTF app and via email post-class.

The launch builds on Orangetheory's evolving connected experience, which brings together coach-led classes, real-time OTconnect performance data and the OTF app with Apple Health integration to help members better understand and track their progress.

Recent enhancements include Trends, a new experience within the OTF app that allows members to view and explore their progress over time across key workout metrics. By making progress more visible beyond what members see in the mirror, Trends provides another way for members to understand how their fitness, performance and overall capability are improving through consistent training.

OTconnect for Apple Watch builds on that experience by giving members another way to stay connected to their performance data during and immediately after class.

Members can also continue using OTconnect Beat™, Orangetheory's proprietary performance monitor, available in studios or on orangetheory.com. Together, OTconnect Beat and OTconnect for Apple Watch give members more choice in how they connect to and track their performance data.
