Oregon Coast Aquarium's Sea Lions Offer Valentine's Day Kisses You Won't Forget
NEWPORT, Ore., Feb. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- A kiss is just a kiss unless you've been smooched by Max, the Oregon Coast Aquarium's professional lover boy, a 500-pound sea lion.

During the week of Feb. 13-18, visitors will be treated to a special display of Max's charms when he holds a red rose in his mouth or displays a "Happy Valentine's Day" sign.
For a truly memorable Valentine's kiss, just pay a fee and a trainer will gently guide Max to your side. Once you turn your head toward him in anticipation, he will plant a big kiss right on your cheek, or for the more intrepid, right on the lips!
One visitor this week who got a preview kiss said she did not detect fish breath. "His lips were just a tiny bit salty, but overall, he's a really good kisser," she said.
Also starring in the aquarium's "kissing booth" is Lea, the female siren who doles out kisses when Max is on break.
For more information about the Oregon Coast Aquarium and the sea lion kisses, visit www.aquarium.org or call 503-867-3474 to arrange for a kiss since Max and Lea only work certain hours of the day or when their trainer has a lot of tasty, fish treats available.
