CHARLOTTE, N.C., July 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Organic Plant Health, Inc. (OTCQB: OPHI), a manufacturer and distributor of organic-based, hybrid and environmentally responsible fertilizers, soil conditioners and pest controls, is pleased to provide a mid-year update on the progress of the company's goals for 2012.

"In light of our recent success with new manufacturing and distribution agreements, we felt this would be an appropriate time to update our shareholders with our progress through the first half of 2012," stated Billy Styles, President and CEO of Organic Plant Health.

In addition to the recent announcement concerning the new distribution agreement with Corpotool, LLC and access to more than 9,000 fresh distribution points, the company has made great strides in other areas. One area worth noting pertains to strategic manufacturing partnerships forged with companies specializing in customized granular and liquid formula production. This will vastly increase the company's ability to meet the demands of its proprietary formulas in a more efficient manner.

Additionally, Organic Plant Health announced that its new corporate and e-commerce website is nearing completion.  The new site will incorporate the company's new branding strategy developed by international branding and package design firm, Kaleidoscope-Chicago. Samples of the new branding elements will be featured in an upcoming release.  Management expects the project will be completed by the end of summer.

"This new site will be a very valuable tool in the way we promote our company and our excellent line of products," commented Billy Styles. "We also plan on utilizing it as an educational tool to teach the public regarding the usage of environmentally friendly landscape care products."

Organic Plant Health has realized an increase in the number of retail partners, including independent hardware stores, garden centers and plant nurseries. These outlets account for a significant part of the company's annual revenue.  Currently dozens of retail partners offer Organic Plant Health products throughout the Carolinas, from Raleigh to Charlotte to Asheville in North Carolina, and throughout the upstate, central and western part of South Carolina. The Company is focusing its immediate geographic retail expansion into the Coastal Carolina region, Georgia and Florida.

"We are very pleased with our progress so far this year," stated Alan Talbert, Vice President and COO.  "In spite of our great progress we realize that we are only in the beginning stages of growing Organic Plant Health into a world class company. Our plan is to increase name recognition in areas where we have existing retail outlets and to create company and brand awareness in the areas targeted for immediate geographic expansion. This will allow us to maximize our current and future retail opportunities."

The company plans to implement a multi-layered marketing plan which will incorporate a wide variety of regional, national and social media geared towards driving new consumers towards Organic Plant Health products.

The company also announced that Billy Styles has been offered his own PBS television series tentatively titled 'Backyard Styles'.  Mr. Styles has been the resident organic gardener on PBS's popular show, "For Your Home," which airs in 90 million homes across the country.

"Being offered this television series is quite an honor, not only for me personally but for our entire company," stated Styles. "This will serve as a great platform to further our mission and reinforce our important environmental concepts of organic based care for residential and commercial landscapes." Mr. Styles continued, "As CEO of a public company I consider it my top priority to use all means necessary to bring increased value to our shareholders. By doing so we believe that in due time the price per share will more properly reflect the true potential of Organic Plant Health. One of our key objectives is to raise our company's image and distinguish ourselves from other similarly priced stocks."

Mr. Styles concluded, "In the years since Alan and I founded Organic Plant Health our resolve has never wavered in our commitment to make a difference in people's lives. We firmly believe that we will take this company to great heights by continuing to further our mission to Change the Way America Grows."
