Organic Plant Health, Inc. (OTCQB: OPHI) Releases End of Summer Progress Report
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Organic Plant Health, Inc. (OTCQB: OPHI), releases update to its' July 17th letter to shareholders. Company president and CEO, Billy Styles, enthusiastically stated, "Since the company's last major update about six weeks ago we have made substantial progress on key company efforts, and we felt that shareholders and potential shareholders would benefit from an additional progress report." Here, OPHI elaborates on revenues, product development, business development and most significantly, huge marketing related developments.
REVENUES, SHARE PRICE, SHAREHOLDER RELATIONS
We are very pleased to report that our Q2 revenue is up about 4% over 2011 and our Q2 operating expenses are down. The company's balance sheet does reflect an increase in liabilities, however most of this is related to a share issuance for a long-term consulting agreement signed at the height of the company's stock price for the quarter. This significantly increased the amount of loss shown for the quarter. However, operationally, we are on target to show continued improvement in operational revenues and expenses for Y/E 2012.
Once the company identifies a financing partner and the board of directors approves an agreement, it is anticipated that the company will then be able to execute critical parts of the business plan aimed at significantly increasing revenues. This is expected to drive the company to a positive cash flow position in 2013. Billy Styles states, regarding shareholder value, "To begin improving shareholder equity, we have implemented an aggressive investor/shareholder relations plan, which is being supported by a few of our larger investors. The cornerstone of the plan involves an equity raise to commence this fall accompanied by a dedicated and highly sophisticated investor relations' strategy. We believe the marketing of the public company, an increase in the shareholder base and an overall increase in public awareness of the Company and products will put us in a remarkable position for fiscal year 2013."
ECO-CEDAR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING
The Company is in active discussions with a U.S. TV Media/Marketing company regarding national marketing and distribution of the new Eco-Cedar INDOOR Insect and Bed Bug control product. We expect to receive a Letter of Intent, "LOI" very soon and will announce the details of this as soon as we have it in hand. The actual Eco-Cedar product development is progressing very well. Recently the company intentionally delayed the product launch to take advantage of new efficiencies that became available to us. We expect these efficiencies will result in a greater value for the end-use consumer, which should naturally increase demand and sales for the product once launched. We truly believe it will be worth the wait.
CORPOTOOL DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT
The realization of the Corpotool distribution agreement, which provides OPHI access to over 9000 new stores through Corpotool's existing distribution, is progressing well. Company president and CEO Billy Styles traveled to Florida recently to work with the Corpotool sales and management team on training and sales calls to potential retailers to gauge initial interest. Each of the stores visited expressed interest and a desire to sell Organic Plant Health products at their location. Since most retailers operate within seasonal buying cycles our initial penetration with these new retailers will depend on their individual ordering patterns – some will begin ordering right away, while others will wait until some point in the future.
Mr. Styles plans another trip to Florida in the next couple of weeks to continue to work with Corpotool sales and management personnel as they begin closing new retailers. Our initial discussions suggest that the company will bring on about 50-100 new stores in the first wave. As Corpotool sales people continue to visit their retailers regularly, new stores will be exposed to Organic Plant Health. We expect to make steady, incremental progress, consistently adding retailers each month. The company expects that this will be a long, but rewarding process for the company and its shareholders. Over the next 6-12 months we expect to see significant impact on revenues and shareholder value as a result of this agreement.
GEOGRAPHIC EXPANSION
The Company is focusing its immediate geographic retail expansion into the Coastal Carolina region, central Georgia and southern Florida.
"We continue to be pleased with our progress thus far and our entire team is committed to our success and that of our shareholders," stated Alan Talbert, Vice President and COO. "In spite of our progress we realize that we are only in the beginning stages of growing Organic Plant Health into a world class company.
Our plan is to increase name recognition in areas where we have an existing presence, and to build company and brand awareness in areas targeted for expansion. This will allow us to maximize our current and future retail opportunities."
MARKETING AND MEDIA STRATEGIES
Upon approval of a financing agreement, the company plans to implement a multi-layered marketing plan, which will incorporate a wide variety of regional and national media geared towards driving new consumers towards Organic Plant Health products. This approach will include a mix of traditional and new media opportunities that should broaden the company's brand appeal and improve sell through with new and existing customers.
Mr. Styles continued, "As CEO of a public company I consider it my top priority to use all means necessary to bring increased value to our shareholders. By doing so we believe that in due time the price per share will more properly reflect the true potential of Organic Plant Health. One of our key objectives is to raise our company's image and distinguish ourselves from other similarly priced stocks." Styles concludes, "In the years since Alan and I founded Organic Plant Health our resolve has never wavered in our commitment to make a difference in people's lives. We firmly believe that we will take this company to great heights by continuing to further our mission of Changing the Way America Grows."
