Organization Going Green and Thinking Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
UPPER MARLBORO, Md., Oct. 26, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today's Dream Tomorrow's Future announces its first annual Green Stands with Pink Community Party on October 27th, 2017 at Marlboro Moose Lodge 1856 in Upper Marlboro. Today's Dream Tomorrow's Future in partnership with Accurate Insulation and Hight on Homes have been working together creating green jobs and enhancing the safety and livability of the home environment for Marylanders. This year the companies have collaborated to go beyond green to stand in support of pink celebrating survivorship and promoting awareness about breast cancer.
"This October we decided to do something special for our clients. Through our services not only are we invited in the homes, but we also learned that breast cancer was a reality for many. We heard their battle cry and joined in their victory in support of those we have loss, living with and still fighting breast cancer," said Cynthia Edwards, President of Today's Dream Tomorrow's Future, in a news release. The event will honor, breast cancer survivor and advocate, Danielle Whidby.
The organization started its Green Stands with Pink initiative this October, performing green energy retrofits and renovations, providing giveaways for breast cancer survivors and hosting a celebration. The mission of the initiative is to celebrate the life, courage and resilience of women and families fighting breast cancer. Guest can enjoy good food, prizes, costumes, photoshoots, and entertainment in a fun atmosphere for a serious cause. The event is sponsored by Today's Dream Tomorrow's Future and Accurate Insulation and the location is at Marlboro Moose Lodge 1856 at 15103 Marlboro Pike, Upper Marlboro, MD from Noon to 3pm.
