Original Parts Group, Inc. Launches the Classic Car Photo Contest

SEAL BEACH, Calif., April 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Do you have a restored classic car you want to share with the world? Original Parts Group, Inc., an industry-leading manufacturer of reproduction GM restoration parts, is pleased to announce the OPGI Classic Car Photo Contest on Facebook. This contest is your chance to share your classic car and be one of 36 winners.

To enter, submit a photo of your classic car along with a brief story on what makes your classic car special.

The contest includes 12 car categories. Out of each of those categories, the top three entries with the most votes—after the public voting period ends—will become finalists for a chance at winning a first, second, or third place prize. Judges will select the winner based on the quality and creativity of the submitted photos and stories. The categories are as follows:

• 64-77 Chevelle
• 64-77 El Camino
• 78-88 El Camino/78-83 Malibu
• 70-77 Monte Carlo and 78-88 Monte Carlo
• 64-73 GTO / Tempest / LeMans
• 64-77 F-85 / Cutlass / 4-4-2
• 61-72 Skylark / GS / GSX
• 54-76 Cadillac
• 63-76 Riviera
• 63-76 Grand Prix
• 59-76 Catalina
• 59-76 Bonneville

Original Parts Group is giving away more than $4,000 in gift certificates to www.opgi.com.

The contest began on April 5, 2012 and ends on May 1, 2012, at 12:00 PM PDT. Public voting begins on May 1, 2012 and ends on May 11, 2012. The winners will be announced on May 14, 2012 following the official judging.
