Ortho Country Orthodontics Introduces Newest Team Member, Dr. Ruben Alcazar

Dr. Alcazar is the son of a dentist himself, so caring for people's smiles is something that's virtually in his blood. He earned his Dental Degree and his first Orthodontic Certificate in his homeland of Peru. Later, he earned his second Orthodontic Certificate from the Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics in Florida, where he also taught for three years before moving to the Pacific Northwest.
Dr. Alcazar is well connected to the world of orthodontics and its many caring doctors. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. His current professional society memberships include the American Association of Orthodontics and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics.
Outside of his professional work, Dr. Alcazar has already explored the countless opportunities for fun and recreation offered by Yamhill County and the surrounding region. "I like watching and practicing sports: tennis, racquetball, ping-pong and soccer are among my favorites," he says.
