OrthoAccel Granted 3 New Patents --2 in the U.S. and 1 in China-- for Proprietary Vibratory Orthodontic Technology Used in AcceleDent
HOUSTON, May 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- OrthoAccel® Technologies, Inc., the leader in accelerated orthodontics, announced today that it has been granted two new patents from the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and one international patent from the State Intellectual Patent Office of the People's Republic of China, in the category of vibrating dental devices. The new patents protect key design elements and ranges of parameters for AcceleDent®, the first and only FDA-cleared vibratory orthodontic device that is clinically proven to speed up orthodontic treatment by as much as 50 percent and reduce the discomfort associated with orthodontic treatment.
OrthoAccel now holds 13 patents including these three new ones focused on its breakthrough AcceleDent product, and these patent grants further validate the distinct nature of AcceleDent's SoftPulse Technology®.
