OrthoArizona Opens New $25 Million Orthopedic Center in Glendale

50,000-square-foot campus near Westgate and State Farm Stadium delivers comprehensive musculoskeletal care, surgery, therapy and imaging under one roof

Glendale, Ariz., Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- OrthoArizona, the largest physician-led orthopedic group in the Southwest, today opened another flagship location: a $25 million, 50,000-square-foot orthopedic center at 9070 W. Glendale Ave., adjacent to Westgate and State Farm Stadium.

The Glendale center combines comprehensive musculoskeletal care, an on-site ambulatory surgery center, physical therapy and advanced imaging including MRI in a single building, carrying patients through the entire journey from first visit to full recovery.

Glendale is the newest addition to a multi-site expansion program OrthoArizona has accelerated under Bhatt, who was appointed chief executive officer in late 2024. In addition to Glendale, the group opened an advanced imaging center in Scottsdale and a 13,000-square-foot comprehensive center in Verrado, and has committed $12.1 million to modernizing and expanding five existing centers across the Phoenix metro area. Deer Valley alone is more than doubling in size, from approximately 12,000 to nearly 26,000 square feet. In all, the group has added approximately 77,000 square feet of clinical space since Bhatt became chief executive officer. A 50,000-square-foot center in Chandler is scheduled to open in summer 2027.

Demand is being driven by the state's demographics and by health care's expanding role in Arizona's economy. More than 19% of Arizona residents are 65 or older, a share projected to reach 22% by 2035, while health care has become the state's largest and fastest-growing employment sector, accounting for one in every three new Arizona jobs, according to the Arizona Office of Economic Opportunity.

Appointed CEO in late 2024, Bhatt brings nearly 20 years of health care leadership to OrthoArizona. A physician entrepreneur, he previously founded and scaled Spectrum Dermatology into Arizona's largest dermatology group before its private equity exit in 2021.
