Outdoor Channel Expands Partnership with Fly Fishing Film Tour

TEMECULA, Calif., Dec. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Outdoor Channel, America's Leader In Outdoor TV, today announced that it has renewed an agreement to serve as the official high definition (HD) partner for the 2012 Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T). F3T is an annual event that premieres the country's best independent outdoor and fishing feature films.

Through the partnership, Outdoor Channel and F3T will bring popular fly fishing content to enthusiasts, while collaborating on cross-promotional opportunities throughout the tour. With digital, print and on-site promotions, Outdoor Channel consumers and affiliates will have access to an expanded, best-in-class variety of fly fishing content that encompasses the widest range of fly fishing activities. Between January and May 2012, F3T expects to screen 12 to 14 short films focused on fly fishing and adventure, making 110+ stops across the U.S. and Canada, including Portland, Seattle, Denver and Atlanta. Last year, select films and shorts from those submitted for the event took viewers to exotic locations to fish permit, smallmouth, steelhead, brown trout, bonefish, and even Mako shark, with a fly.
