The best-selling frozen fruit bar brand takes over Sailor's Choice in Hudson Yards with an experiential event to promote new flavors and help consumers soak up the last bits of Summer
WALNUT CREEK, Calif., Sept. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Outshine®, best known for their refreshingly delicious frozen fruit bars, will bring the flavors of their new Fruit Blends innovation to life in New York City through an interactive activation on September 12th. As the season winds down and back-to-school approaches, Outshine® invites New Yorkers to hold onto that last bit of summer - extending those bright, refreshing moments into September.
This experience builds upon the brand's "Made Easy" platform. Outshine® believes in the joy of fruit and aims to bring consumers its sweet, refreshing taste, without any of the hassle that comes with some fruits like pineapple, coconut and beyond. This activation extends this conventional product promise of easy pleasure into a full lifestyle experience. Recognizing that summer is joyful but flies by in a flurry of activities, Outshine® is bottling the best of the season in its final moments. The "Savor The Summer" event is designed as a moment of refreshment and escape, right when people need it most — a way to extend summer in the heart of Manhattan and show firsthand how Outshine® brings ease, vibrance, and joy to snacking.
Outshine® will present its newest launch: a bold new collection of frozen fruit bars that artfully blend two or more fruit flavors to create works of yum. Each bar is made with real fruit or juice, and crafted with its own unique swirl for a refreshing, uplifting treat. Guests will be invited to sample all three new Fruit Blends: Cherry Limeade, Piña Colada, and Tropical Punch. Inspired by classic, summery drinks, these visually stunning bars will be paired with fruit-forward mocktails. Soft Bar—a café and non-alcoholic bar from Summer House's Carl Radke that specializes in soft NA cocktails made with zero-proof spirits—will create a custom non-alcoholic beverage for the event featuring the new Tropical Punch Fruit Blend Bar. The activation will also include interactive and sensorial touchpoints, along with custom merch stations all inspired by these blended flavor profiles and designed to evoke the bliss of a simple, summer moment.
"Summer comes and goes every year in a flash, and we wanted to give people a way to hold onto it just a little longer," said Elizabell Marquez, CMO of Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream. "Outshine® is all about making it easy to experience the joy of fruit, and our new Fruit Blends are designed to savor the flavors of summer now and year-round, the Outshine® way- simple, artful and bursting with fruit flavor."
Taking place at Sailor's Choice, a new East Coast seafood shack from the team behind popular spots like Grand Banks and docked at Hudson Yards, the brand will take over the nautical setting to bring tropical, summer moments to Manhattan. The "Savor The Summer" event is open to the public on September 12th from 1-8 pm. Outshine® remains committed to delivering refreshing, fruit-forward, easy snacking moments to consumers nationwide through their products and retail presence.
