outsourceIT and GoBeyondIT Merge; Creating One of the Largest Privately Held Managed/Cloud Service Providers in the Country
LA PLATA, Md. and BALTIMORE, Jan. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- outsourceIT, a large regional based Managed Services Provider, providing outsourced IT services to the SMB market place, announced today they have merged with GoBeyondIT, a Cloud Services Provider, with customers in both the SMB and large Enterprise market. The combined company has office locations spanning the mid-Atlantic and South Eastern parts of the country, with offices as far north as Philadelphia, PA and as far south as Charlotte, NC. The headquarters will remain in La Plata, MD (DC Metro Area) with major support center hubs remaining in Winston-Salem, NC and Baltimore, MD.
The two combined companies have created one of the largest privately held Managed/Cloud Service Providers (MSP/CSP) in the United States. The combined entities revenue is greater than $15 million with approximately 70 employees. The company is expecting to continue to see strong growth throughout 2012.
Craig Guice, CEO of outsourceIT, will continue to serve as CEO, he will step down as President and hand this role over to his co-founding partner, Mark Vliet, who has most recently served as VP and CTO. Richard Crane, CEO of GoBeyondIT, will become Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and David Webb, Partner of GoBeyondIT, will become Executive Vice President of Enterprise and Strategic Accounts.

The combined company will operate as both outsourceIT and GoBeyondIT. Collectively the companies are providing a full suite of Managed and Cloud services, which includes: Helpdesk, Project Services, Virtual CIO Services, NOC Services, Hosted Desktops (VDI), Hosted Servers, Hosted Applications and VoIP Telephone Services. Ultimately, providing its SMB clients with a fully outsourced IT Support Department and providing its Enterprise clients with ad hoc services such as Outsourced Helpdesk, Professional Services, and Hosted Cloud Services. The company will also build out a Channel Sales Model, which can be white labeled, for other service providers who do not want the expense and headache of building out their own managed or cloud services offering.
