Over 1,000 Children Participate in Meridian Waste's Earth Day Coloring Contest

Nine Young Artists Win Prizes in the 6th Annual "Brightening the World" Celebration

CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- In a heartwarming celebration of creativity and environmental awareness, Meridian Waste Acquisitions, LLC, a provider of non-hazardous solid waste services, proudly announces the winners of its 6th annual "Brightening the World" Earth Day Coloring Contest. This year's contest drew more than 1,000 colorful submissions from children across the U.S.—triple the number of entries received in past years—highlighting a growing enthusiasm for art, nature, and sustainability.

For the first time, the contest welcomed entries from 3- and 4-year-olds, who made up a significant portion of the total submissions. The contest was divided into three age groups: 3–4 years, 5–7 years, and 8–10 years, with three winners per category.
