SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Overstock.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: OSTK) announced today that it has filed a new shelf registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission. After it becomes effective, the new registration statement would allow the Company to sell, from time to time, up to $200 million of its debt securities, common stock, warrants and other securities in one or more offerings. The terms of any offering under the shelf registration statement will be established at the time of any such offering.

The shelf registration statement has been filed but is not yet effective.
