SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- (NASDAQ: OSTK) - Overstock.com, Inc. has launched everyday free shipping on orders over $50 delivered to the lower 48 states.  Orders less than $50 will ship for the same low flat-rate of $2.95 Overstock.com has always offered.

To place an order, shoppers can go to www.overstock.com and browse the selection of such items as furniture, rugs, bedding, electronics, clothing and jewelry.  Once these items are placed in the shopping cart and the customer proceeds to checkout, the shipping will be free on orders $50 or more.

Overstock.com has offered the low flat-rate shipping of $2.95 for most of its 13 year history, with free shipping promotions at various times during the year and lately throughout the holiday shopping season.

For free shipping on all orders all the time, Overstock.com offers its rewards program, Club O.  Club O membership is available online at Club O Rewards for $19.95. Every order placed on Overstock.com, regardless of size or value, automatically ships for free.  In addition to all-time free shipping, Club O members earn 5 percent in Club O Dollars on every purchase made on the Overstock.com website, with the ability to earn 10 to 25 percent on exclusive product offerings that change regularly.  The rewards program also now offers Dining Rewards.  Real Simple Magazine named Club O Rewards as one of the top loyalty programs for offering the best perks.

Free standard shipping on orders $50 and up applies to U.S. orders only. For expedited shipping, additional charges will apply. Offer applies only to deliveries in the lower 48 states. Offer excludes Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO and international orders. Sales tax and charitable donations are excluded from subtotal for purposes of this offer.
