Ovox Gym & Training Center Takes Covid Safety to a Whole New Level
MORGANVILLE, N.J., June 18, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Ovox Gym and Training Center https://www.ovoxmorganville.com located in Morganville, New Jersey, redesigns its facility and creates protocols for a safe gym environment to exercise and train its members. "We are ready to welcome back our members and staff once the Governor gives the green light," states, Ovox Founder, Stu Rosenstein.
Stu Rosenstein and Harry Rosenberg have been pioneers in the fitness industry for over 20 years so when a COVID-19 pandemic caused the gyms to close, they rose to the challenge and figured out a way to create the safest possible fitness environment. When Ovox reopens its 25,000 square foot facility, many new protocols and retrofits have been implemented so that work-outs and classes are available and maintain the highest safety standard. As you enter the gym, a thermo camera system will obtain a temperature reading to ensure members do not have a fever. Ovox placed over 200 plexiglass sheets that were custom fabricated to create individual cardio pods, and training sections. Signage to control the member directional flow has been completed. Even the locker rooms were designed and retrofitted to accommodate for social distancing. An EPA approved Covid-19 chemical disinfectant system, with foggers, are in place to address the entire space.
Stu Rosenstein has developed Ovox's plan for re-opening which includes the CDC guidelines but he also implemented steps beyond their recommendations. "Our priority is the safety and well-being of our staff and members at all times. To address this new gym environment, Ovox hired more staff to administer the highest level of cleaning, reduced and set the numbers of members allowed to work out at any given time, retrofitted the gym and requires staff to be masked at all times. If our members choose to slowly return to the gym environment and want to incorporate exercising at home, we will continue to offer a significant amount of virtual classes on our Ovox App." Stu states "The Ovox team looks forward to opening our doors so we can all get back to the healthy routine of working-out and staying strong."
