OxySure(R) Assists Student in Extreme Respiratory Distress, Increasing to 23 the Number of Uses in a Single School District in Less Than 6 Months

FRISCO, Texas, Jan. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- OxySure® Systems, Inc. today announced that an OxySure® Model 615 was successfully used to restore oxygen saturation levels to normal values in a middle school student experiencing respiratory distress at Scoggins Middle School in the Frisco Independent School District (FISD). This is the 23rd time in less than 6 months where OxySure was used to assist FISD students suffering from medical emergencies.

On Tuesday, January 5, 2010 Rylee Greenwood was running athletic sprints when she experienced extreme respiratory distress. She was unable to breathe effectively, had a rapid heart rate and was severely oxygen deprived. The school nurse administered OxySure along with an Epipen, and her oxygen saturation levels came back up quickly, which may have prevented a collapse.
