Oyster.com Continues the Search for Hotel Pearls in New Cities Around the Globe
Leading hotel reviews website expands their growing database - Adds more than 15 cities in six months
NEW YORK, Sept. 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- In just the last six months, Oyster.com, the leading authority on hotel reviews, has added over 15 new cities to their ever-growing list of vacation destinations. The goal of Oyster.com is to provide honest photos and unbiased reviews of each hotel they visit by evaluating everything from the beds and showers to the mini-bars and reliability of the Internet service. Oyster's newest locations include: Chicago hotels, Montreal hotels, Phoenix hotels, Sedona hotels, Stockholm hotels, Atlanta hotels, Austin hotels, Dallas hotels, Denver hotels, Fort Lauderdale hotels, Seattle hotels, Florida Keys hotels, Myrtle Beach hotels, Palm Beach hotels, Puerto Rico hotels and Puerto Vallarta hotels.
"The only way to really know about a place is to actually go there – everything else is just a guess – and that's the basis of our business," says Elie Seidman, co-founder and CEO of Oyster.com. "Our goal is to be in 75 cities in the next six months."
Not only does each new destination feature a plethora of hotels to look at and book, but their editorial team breaks them down into a variety of categories including Best Business Hotels in Chicago, Best Kid-Friendly Hotels in Fort Lauderdale, Most Romantic Hotels in Phoenix, and many more.
"You can't return a bad vacation and we're here to help consumers make the right decision before they book," adds Seidman.
The hotels in every Oyster city are rated on a "pearls" system of one through five. Users can sort through each city and read hotel reviews by editors who have personally visited the property. After reading editor reviews and sifting through honest, undoctored photo albums, users can decide which hotel is right for them. Oyster also offers the ability to book hotel stays directly through the site. In addition to reviews, Oyster features an in-depth blog, which serves a source for more fun tips and travel advice that vacationers can benefit from.
