Green Chemistry pioneer joins the ranks of Waymo, Nvidia, Duolingo, and more

In September 2024, P2 launched a new globally compliant high molecular weight liquid polymer for cosmetics and personal care, Citropol® DE-4 (INCI: Bis-Polycitronellyl Succinate).  The only molecule of its kind in the market today, Citropol® DE-4 outperforms heavy silicones or ethoxylated esters, and offers a renewable, non-petrochemical, and palm-free alternative to beauty brands and consumers. It is derived from upcycled terpenes extracted from responsibly managed forests as a side stream of the pulp and paper industry. Citropol® DE-4 is USDA certified biobased, 96% natural origin (ISO 16128), and inherently biodegradable.
