Pacific Prime Pleased to Announce Allianz Premium Increase Below 5 Year Inflation Average
Allianz Worldwide Care's premiums will increase by only 5% in 2013, well below the global rate of medical inflation (11%). Pacific Prime's clients will undoubtedly benefit from this great performance.
HONG KONG, Nov. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Allianz Worldwide Care's premiums will increase by only 5% in 2013, well below the global rate of medical inflation (11%) and below Allianz's own 5 year average (8%). Pacific Prime exclusively distributes Allianz's dormancy plan in Asia and its clients will undoubtedly benefit from this great performance.
Pacific Prime, one of the world's leading international private medical insurance distributors has run its own global medical inflation benchmark for the past 5 years and has shown medical inflation averaging at 10.8%. In light of this, the Allianz 2013 increase looks positive for Pacific Prime clients partnered with Allianz policies who will continue to receive high quality healthcare at affordable costs.
Furthermore, Allianz has introduced three new worldwide pricing zones meaning that 70 countries will move down in pricing zones further benefiting Pacific Prime clients (only three countries will move up).
Claude Daboul, Director of Sales, Marketing and Operations at Allianz Worldwide Care stated, "As a client-focused business, we work very hard to restrict the impact of medical inflation on client premiums, across all markets". She explained how they do so; "proactively monitoring and managing the cost of medical treatment and associated services enables us to contain costs for our clients and maintain affordable premiums."
Flexibility across Allianz In-patient core plan policies is improving meaning Pacific Prime customers will now have access to six new deductible options. Additionally, it will now also be possible to include a newborn child born out of a surrogate pregnancy into a Worldwide Care plan.
However, it should be noted that Allianz has changed the language of several of their policies, resulting in both benefits and possible detriments for policyholders. For example, in regard to the exclusion of sleep disorder related treatments, investigations into the causation of sleep disorders will now be covered from November 2012.
Pacific Prime customers partnered with Allianz should feel safe in the knowledge that their insurer is continuing its strong wave of innovation and that Allianz is clearly committed to providing the highest levels of service possible to their customers.
